Kiesman Commission
This is a Super-Strat style guitar from the mind of my client who had a unique and creative vision for his dream guitar. It began with a fine slab of AAAA maple burl that yielded the body top, fretboard and headstock. All top edges are bound including the Fender style headstock--a challenge in itself! Appointments include Ric inspired mother of pearl fret markers and f-hole. Seymour Duncan Hot Rails are independently volume and tone controlled. They are selected with a 10-way Freeway switch. We had an enjoyable texting collaboration over the several months of building. I'm told it will be passed through the Kiesman generations!
