Redwood II
I had a few old growth redwood chunks left over from the first Redwood guitar project. The original redwood slab had truly remarkable figure. I had to cobble in an extra piece to get the full width of the top. I love the three-piece look! I used blue dyed veneers in the binding, neck, and top for a nice contrast with the redwood hues. I also used Crimson Guitars' blue wood filler in the open grain of the claro walnut fretboard and eastern walnut back. This guitar features TV Jones "Classic" pickups. I mounted them directly to the body to leave as much of the redwood top uncovered as possible. All guitars I make come with (my) lifetime maintenance and adjustment to your specification.
